This is Napoli's 1995/96 away shirt, made by Lotto and worn during a season the club spent quietly consolidating in the middle of the Serie A table. Under coach Vujadin Boškov, Napoli finished 12th, with a defence marshalled by Roberto Ayala and André Cruz and goalkeeper Giuseppe Taglialatela doing enough to keep the team clear of relegation trouble despite one of the division's lowest scoring records. It's a shirt from the years after Diego Maradona's departure, when Napoli were working to rebuild an identity beyond his era.
